Construction Worker

Suydam Construction is looking for the right person to help on residential projects ranging from building decks to home renovations and additions. We are looking for a candidate that shows up when they are supposed to, works hard, and wants to be treated right. Candidates that know light framing, electrical, plumbing, sheetrocking, trim, and painting would be a great fit. Willing to train the right person. Requirements

• Must know how to read a tape measure
• Valid Drivers Lisence
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
• Compensation based on experience. $15-$25/hr
